This Panel is a friendly identifier designed to aid the prevention of fratricide (friendly casualties) caused by friendly weapon systems employing the thermal sighting devices. This unit is specifically designed to be attached to a combat/tactical vehicle. It is color coded to assist in the visual identification of the vehicle on the battlefield as a friendly unit.

The package is desert tan; the panel itself is bright orange on one side and desert tan on the other.
