New Product Alert: MOD Armory Universal Smartphone Adapter for Night Vision Filming

MOD Armory Universal Smartphone Adapter for Night Vision Filming

MOD Armory Universal Smartphone Adapter for Night Vision Filming attaches virtually all smartphones to a PVS-14 night vision monocular with a screw-in eyecup flange for still and video photography.

Originally made for MIL/LE surveillance operations to gather intel, MOD Armory has been making iPhone adapters for many years. Changing smartphone profiles prompted an updated, universal design to fit virtually all phones within their protective cases.

This newly redesigned adapter safely and securely holds a smartphone in place behind a PVS-14 type ocular, aligning the camera precisely and providing maximum field of view and zoom capability for the camera.  A jam-nut clamps against the ocular flange to hold the phone in any orientation relative to the PVS-14’s mounting plate. This permits vertical and horizontal frame orientations when the PVS-14 Universal Phone Adapter is used on a tripod or weapons mount.

Fits virtually all smartphones without having to take the phone out of its case. Murphy’s Law states that if your $1,000 phone is out of its case on a dark night, you WILL drop it.

Live stream your hog hunt, take stills, video, or broadcast to available devices with your smartphone – all without cables or external batteries.

Works with PVS-14, PVS-7 (with available bushing), REAP-IR, IR-Patrol, and other night vision devices or thermals that use the PVS-14 style ocular. Bushing is required on the PVS-7, or if the eye cup retaining ring is glued in.

Made in the U.S.A. of precision machined anodized aluminum.
