The Clip-On Night Vision Device Long Range CNVD-LR is a rugged, clip-on night vision device designed for higher caliber weapons and snipers. For those who require long range identification and engagement, the CNVD-LR clips-on in line with, and in front of various day sights, eliminating the need to remove the primary day optic. With operational environment capabilities, the CNVD-LR meets or exceeds military standards in terms of humidity, dust, sand, impact, etc. The CNVD-LR features a single switch, operating both the power on and off and the manual gain. There is an LED located below the on/off gain control switch that glows red to indicate a low battery. The Clip-On Night Vision Device Long Range CNVD-LR operates either on a single CR123 standard lithium battery or a single AA battery. The CNVD-LR features battery reverse polarity protection and uses a quick-detach throw lever mount, which is compatible with a standard rail interface system. An objective hood, a daylight cover and a collimator hood provide impact protection to the system from light and other environmental factors. The L3 Warrior System Clip-On Night Vision Device Long Range CNVD-LR has a detection range of 850 meters or 930 yards and is submersible up to 66 feet (20 meters).
